EXPRESS ENTRY DRAWS

EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW #167 | LARGEST DRAW EVER

5,000 Express Entry candidates have received Invitations to Apply for Canadian permanent residence in the 167th Express Entry draw on November 18, 2020. Invitations were issued to candidates in all three of the economic immigration streams managed by the Express Entry system, including Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).  The minimum CRS cut-off score for this draw was 472, down 6 points from the last all-program draw.

Draw Number: 167
Draw Date: November 18, 2020
Number of Invitations Issued: 5,000
Minimum CRS: 472
Program Specified: None
Tie-breaking rule: October 27, 2020

Largest Draw in Express Entry History

The Canadian federal government has issued more invitations in this draw than ever before, with 5,000 eligible Express Entry candidates receiving invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

The CRS cut-off score has also dropped 6 points compared to the last all-program draw on November 5. This is a strong indication that the government is attempting to make Canadian immigration a viable reality for more foreign nationals than ever before.

With the Canadian government pledging to admit more than 1.2 million immigrants over the next three years, it is likely that we will continue to see more frequent Express Entry draws with higher numbers of invitations than ever before.
