Ontario PNP Invites 703 Express Entry Candidates

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) sent out 703 invitations to candidates with specific work experience who have active profiles in the Express Entry pool. 

The invitations were sent out via the OINP’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream. The Express Entry Human Capital stream selects candidates who have an active Express Entry profile, a competitive Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, and have work experience in a targeted occupation.

The August 26 draw saw 703 invitations to apply sent out to applicants with CRS scores between 466 and 475 and have work experience in one of the following occupations:

About OINP’s Express Entry Human Capital stream

OINP’s Express Entry Human Capital stream selects candidates who have already submitted to the Express Entry pool. In other words, you don’t need to submit to an Ontario Express Entry pool, just the federal system. Applicants need to list their primary occupation on their Express Entry profile as one of the NOCs targeted in the specific draw. 

You have 45 calendar days to submit an application to OINP once you are invited to apply. The fees to apply to OINP are $1,500 and are in addition to the fees needed to apply for Canadian permanent residence which for a single applicant is approximately $1,325. 

Once successfully approved for the OINP Express Entry Human Capital stream, you will be awarded an additional 600 points on your Express Entry application. This will essentially guarantee you will be invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence on the next Express Entry draw.
